An early C20 oval English Jelly Mould by Shelley in the Ritz Design (plain top), named after the Ritz Hotel in London. These jelly moulds were made between 1904 - 25 from white glazed earthenware and came in various sizes. They were unusual in having the design on the inside mimicked on the outside, which made them very decorative for display. They were also found to be 'most satisfactory' in use after extensive testing, and won a Good Housekeeping Institute Award
In very good vintage condition with one small chip the the rim.
