Victorian Apothecary Drawer - R:TARAX.

A rare vintage Apothecary Drawer, once part of a bank of drawers in a Victorian Chemist's Shop.  This Drawer has a dark mahogany front with a faceted glass original label R: TARAX. - which would have most likely contained a tincture prepared with dandelions.  The Drawer also has an original glass faceted knob.  It has tiny dovetail joints and is in good vintage condition.
 
This measures 25.5cm wide x 15.5cm tall x 17.5cm deep
